It's that time of year again

In Chicagoland, it often snows in the late fall, only to melt in April. This has some interesting semi-cultural implications. One of which i posted on Facebook:
The dogwalker knows what the melting snow reveals.
There is actually another level to that. That is that as the snow melts, the places that the dog has marked have faded away, and he feels the need to mark them again.
And walking the neighborhood each day, it is fun to see tennis balls, Christmas light chords and other inadvertently discarded stuff show up, even if it is only temporarily.
After all, it is only February. More snow tonight, they say.
