Why is it called Navy Pier, anyway

On the way to the Flower Show (apparently with naming rights given to Belgard Hardscapes) at Navy Pier> (no, hardscapes is not about your abs), we encountered Stained Glass Windows. Apparently Chicago was a hotbed of stained glass artisanship. Many of the pieces on display were quite breathtaking. And yes, the had some Tiffany pieces which took the already astonishing art form to an entirely new level.

I highly recommend this. Cost is free once you get there. In the neighborhood? Stop by there. Then stop by our house for a coffee, swapping false tales, time with the dog.
