The famous bootleg trail that ran from Canada to "Russel Country" went near Conrad Montana. Each year, there is a parade and now apparently they have added a rhubarb festival. How much fun is that! And don't forget the Rodeo and Carnival. And the Antique Car Show.

They are now calling that chunk of Montana Russel Country.

One essential component of a parade, of course, is a band. So our High School marching band was part of the festivities. I can remember marching forever, although the weather was not very hot at that time of the year.

So when is the last time that you have had real Rhubarb Pie—not that stuff diluted by strawberries?
