The case of the missing cicada

No cicadas in this neighborhood yet. However, our neighbor told us that before 1964, this was cornfield. Thus, it is not going to happen here. But they are slower to emerge than many are predicting.
I will get you some photos when we see a few. Believe me, when they get out, it is quite remarkable.
