Last Day of Hamvention

Sunday, May 20, 2007

The last day of the convention is pretty short for most of us, making plans to head back home. In the afternoon, there is a major raffle of equipment, but in the 20 or so years that I have gone to Dayton, I think I stayed that late only once.

There is also the last swipe through the flea market to hunt for bargians that are big enough that their owners don't want to take them home. This is good in that they are likely to be very cheap, like zero. This is bad, because it is usually heavy, and that means that YOU have to take it home.

And on the way back, the radio is on, and you can hear the other hams chatting on their way back home.

Hopefully next year.
